Where do interviews get posted?
Once an interview is submitted, received, and approved. Our posting team will add it to the list of interviews found on the “Latest Interviews” page.

How long does it take to post my interview to the website?

Timelines vary based on interview submissions. Generally speaking, an interview will go live between 5-7 business days of approval.

Will I be notified that my interview is live?
Yes. Once your interview is published, you will receive an email update from our team. When in doubt, or because emails go to spam, please check the list on the Latest Interviews page.
Do you offer a do-follow link with interviews?
No, sorry. We’d love to, but based on Google’s rules, this can be considered user-generated content.
I have someone in mind for an interview. What should I do?
Great, if you believe your mentor, boss, coach, fill in the blank hero entrepreneur has a valuable story, please send them our way. Easiest thing to do is send them the link to the interview application page.

Can I buy or lease a link on your website?
No. Next question.
Do you turn down submissions? What happens if I have already paid?

We reserve the right to refuse submissions, even paid ones. We don’t find ourselves doing it very often, but if submissions (or you) fall short of our standards, we will reject the submission and refund. Here’s what we look for:

  1. We prefer founder or co-founder stories. That doesn’t limit us to those key roles, but we find that these are the most exciting and compelling stories that offer the most value. If you have an awesome story, we want to hear from you.
  2. Please put in effort. Don’t submit typos, thin content, or general, non-value-add insights. Pretend you’re on the other side of the screen. Would you want to read your own submission?
  3. We require original content. Submissions can’t be duplicates (previously posted) or low-quality/AI. Submissions will be declined for that reason, or for any reason at all, at our discretion.
  4. Be kind. We have a firm “no jerks” approach to doing business. Do not hassle our team or waste our time by repeatedly asking when your interview will go live. Please be respectful, we’re here to serve a wider community.

Yes. If you have a great story, we want to hear about it. We aim to provide value to our readers with thoughtful and insightful stories from entrepreneurs.
Do you offer discounts on the posting fee?
In certain circumstances, yes. Please reach out to our team through the contact us form.
Will my interview be proofread or edited by your team?
Interview submissions go through a very light Grammarly check, but nothing substantial in terms of proofing and editing. This is your submission, please put your best foot forward when submitting.
How will you use my interview?
Interviews will be posted to our website under the Latest Interview page. Please make sure that the content is original and yours. In addition, please make sure the photo you provide is yours.

Through your submission, you certify that we have the rights to submit all content and images, and the rights to pass on authorization for us to use the content and images royalty-free, without compensation, and indemnified of liabilities. Submission may be repurposed without notice, and may not be proofed or modified. If we do use a quote out of your interview, we’ll always credit you by name and will link back to the original interview whenever possible.
